Our goal and responsibility is to help each student develop an enthusiasm for learning, a respect for self and others, and the skills to become a creative, independent thinker, and problem solver.

Therefore, the mission of the Wiggs Middle School community of faculty, parents, and students is to actively engage all learners in critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and effective communication knowing that these skills are essential to successful 21st century post-secondary education, employment, and global citizenship.  

Furthermore, Wiggs Middle School will do whatever it takes to create and sustain an environment for achieving positive academic, social, and emotional learning outcomes for all through a collaborative and consistent TEAM approach.

The Wiggs Family invites all students, new and returning, to the annual "WALK YOUR SCHEDULE" night on Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.  The administration and our Student Ambassadors will be on hand to assist and answer questions you may have.


Times:  8:00 - 11:30, 1:00 - 3:00


beginning August 1, 8:00 a.m., through August 4, Wiggs Football Field. Athletes do not have to have an up-to-date sports physical record to participate.


Parents - Online registration for the 2016-2017 school year is now open.  All students Pre K-12 must be registered online.  Parents, if you need access to a computer, the lab at El Paso High School will be made available to you.  The computer lab is located in the Main Building, room 206.  Staff members and students will be available to assist you throughout the process. Information regarding this process is located at episd.org as well as El Paso High's website.  

Thank you and we look forward to seeing your high school student back on Monday, August 22, 2016.

 El Paso High School will have a computer lab on the following days and times:

August 1st - 4th, and 8th - 12th; 
8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Wiggs currently has a computer lab open (room 104) with teachers to assist you throughout the registration process at the same times and dates.  Register all of your children (Pre-K - 12) from one lab.


The 2016 Supply Lists are located under "FOR PARENTS" tab, "Resources" link. 
 In addition to the supplies, students are required to have two (2) locks - one for the hallway locker and one for P.E.

Dear Wiggs Parents,

If your child has medication in the nurse's office, it must be picked up by Monday, June 6.  Per EPISD policy, medications cannot be sent home with the student, therefore any medication not picked up by June 6 by a parent will be discarded appropriately.
